StackdPrivacy policy
Stackd is a play-money card game. We collect only what the game needs to work, we don't sell or share it, and you can delete your account and its data at any time.
Play money only. Chips have no cash value and can't be bought or cashed out.
What we collect
- Account: your username, how you like it capitalised, and when you signed up.
- Password: never stored as typed. We keep a salted PBKDF2-SHA256 hash, which can't be turned back into your password.
- Gameplay: your chip balance and a record of every chip change, your season and lifetime stats, achievements, cosmetics you own and use, friends, groups, and past season ranks.
- Activity: the time of your last request, used to show friends whether you're online.
- Sign-in sessions: a random token that keeps you logged in. We store only a hash of it, and it expires after 30 days without use.
- Abuse protection: short-lived counters that limit logins, signups and other actions. Counters tied to an IP address store a hash of it, never the address itself.
Stackd doesn't ask for your email address, real name, location or payment details, and it has no ads, analytics or tracking. The extension doesn't read or change the websites you visit.
What other players see
Your username, avatar and frame, stats, achievements and season badges appear on leaderboards and your profile. Friends can see whether you're online and which table code you're at. Players at your table see your seat, your chip stack and the cards shown at showdown.
Why we use it
Only to run the game: to log you in, keep your chips and stats, run tables, leaderboards and seasons, and stop cheating and abuse. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Where it's stored
The game runs on Cloudflare, which stores the data above and processes requests for us. As part of hosting, Cloudflare may keep technical request logs, which can include your IP address, for a limited time under its own policies. Your browser keeps your sign-in token, a cached copy of your profile and your settings in the extension's local storage; logging out removes the token and profile.
Deleting your account
Open Stackd, choose your avatar, then Settings and Delete account. After you confirm your password, your account, chips, stats, friends, cosmetics, achievements and saved games are erased right away. Groups you own pass to the longest-standing member, or are removed if you were the only one. Leaderboard pages are cached for up to a minute, and Cloudflare's database recovery keeps earlier copies for up to 7 days, after which the data is gone for good.
Age
Stackd is for adults 18 and over, because it simulates casino games. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
